Our Process

Irrespective of size, timing and budget of any particular project, the tried and tested method of developing proposals in phases ensures that Client expectations can be met. The very first step of gathering information, analysing it and drafting a number of possible solutions for discussion with the project team will ensure that a project can ultimately be delivered on time, on budget and with the desired technical and visual characteristics, meeting or exceeding expectations.

Consult

An initial meeting with the Client / Architect to understand the design brief together with any restrictions the project may have be they time, location or cost factors. We will give the Client our immediate feedback based upon our experience, and take away an outline brief to respond to.

Concept

We will prepare a response to the Client / Architect with our design solution with sketches of the proposed aesthetical solutions and accompanying backup of any previous relevant works, and outline engineering details if these are fundamental to the design. Concept stage will also be accompanied with budget costings and outline programme information.

Planning

This involves a more detailed analysis of the timing for all activities (design development, procurement, manufacture, shipping, installation) that will be involved in the project to ensure the project schedule can be met.

Fabrication

After discussions internally and with production plants, selection will be made of the most appropriate manufacturing method and best suited partner to undertake the fabrication of each component.

On site

The product will arrive either directly on site or via a dedicated warehouse and logistics centre for installation to an agreed layout, detailing and timescale. Our project management team will co-ordinate our activities with the Client’s construction team to ensure a smooth interface with other trades and adherence with the overall programme.
